I am Patrice Lumumba Roberts, The EPIC Educator. As a 16 year educator, specialist and teacher of the year nominee, I’ve taught every grade level from “kindergarten to graduation.” Through my teaching career I realized that the most powerful influence in a child's education is a well equipped parent at home. So my coaching, courses, and community groups are dedicated to giving working parents the tools they need to give their children the edge in education!

Who is this course for?
Whether newcomers or veterans to online learning, this course is for parents that want to get results for their kids with virtual learning.
How does this course work?
Parents walk through 10 powerful "super-efficient" steps. Each step includes short videos, resources, and activities. Steps build off of each other and can be done at any time, so once a step is completed, you simply move on to the next step.
How long are the lessons?
Lessons are engaging and short (between 2- 6 minutes each)! The accompanying activities will take a little longer to complete depending on your individual schedule.
Can I fit this course into my schedule?
Absolutely! The course was designed to fit around any parent's schedule. There is a course schedule for your convenience, but activities can be done at any time.
What if my child does in-person schooling?
Nine out of the ten steps in this course apply to both in-person and online schooling! The behavior lessons work especially well for students in face-to-face schools but need support at home. You will continue to use 90% of these strategies once your children transition back to in-person learning!
Does this help address home behavior?
Yes! An entire unit is dedicated to increasing positive home behavior!
My kid hates virtual learning, what does it have for them?
A number of activities are included to get "buy-in" from your kids. An entire unit is dedicated to increase positive home culture, goal setting, and incentives to help children get more engaged.
Will this course offer help for my child with Math or Language Arts?
Learning strategies for individual content areas are NOT covered. In this course parents will create the best conditions for online learning at home.
